CCW Advanced Contents

Our Class will Cover The Following :

The Advanced Carrying Concealed Weapons Course covers briefly the material in the LSP CCH Course but concentrates more on the Fundamentals of Shooting and the Fundamentals of Survival Shooting. Participants enjoy the shooting of more rounds but also experience valuable training information that will help them if ever involved in a critical incident shooting. The course emphasizes more on the following content;

  1. Firearms safety on and off range and during and after a critical incident. Do’s and Don’ts of handling a firearm.
  2. Know the difference between the Fundamentals of Shooting & Fundamentals of Survival Shooting.
  3. Learn to reload before, during, and after a critical incident shooting, and using cover while doing so.
  4. Learn the difference between Combat Point Shooting and shooting from distance, and the difference between both.
  5. Shooting from cover and concealment and know the difference between both.
  6. Know when to take cover or concealment.
  7. Learn to shoot at center mass of threat.
  8. Learn how to shoot from distance using sight alignment / sight picture, and if available support for better accuracy.
  9. Recognize when to shoot and not shoot.
  10. Learn the benefits of a properly clean and lubricated firearm.


Participants will experience less classroom and more range exercises. Participants only need to have attended one of the Basic CCH Classes conducted by G.E.T.S or possess a current CCH permit, from any state that issues such. After completion of the 8 hour course, participants experience and better understand the effects of a shooting incident.

Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention (SHARP) Instructor School

Course Description: 

The GETS PPCT Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention (SHARP) course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of women when control methods and assault prevention methods are required. Principles and strategies for effectively reducing the likelihood of assault through actual techniques of countering an attack are stressed in this program. Utilizing efficient and effective methods of subject control that do not rely on size and strength, PPCT has developed a training system that can be used by just about everyone who is interested in personal safety.

Course Goals:

  • To examine survival-learning research in an effort to enhance survivability in combat situations.
  • To instruct a subject control system that is compatible with the effects of survival stress and allows women to easily and effectively control situations that arise.
  • To teach a subject control system based upon techniques that do not rely on size and strength and that can be easily learned and retained.
  • To refine student technique to the instructor level.
  • To teach instructional methods designed to enhance a student’s ability to learn survival techniques, increase his/her confidence level, and assist in the successful application of physical techniques.
