By Susan T. Herring,  Editor, The Guardian-Journal

Bonnie Johnson recalled the time her "Mammaw" Davidson tried to send her two one-dollar bills--her weekly Rook winnings, only to have the Russian government confiscate them. She chose not to. This is one of the many stories Johnson shared with members of the Homer Lions Club at their noon meeting on Thursday, August 24.
